I'm coming out of the gate firing this year, folks. Asuka 120% Burning Fest. Limited is likely a game you've never heard of. Heck, it's a game that I didn't know existed until about a month or so ago myself. But after discovering it with some friends while going through a back catalog of Sega Saturn games, I immediately fell in love with this schoolgirl anime fighter.
Enter the Gungeon was my first roguelike. It was the game that inspired me to jump headfirst into the genre and brought me countless hours of exploring, shooting, and most importantly, dying. This year's Advanced Gungeons & Draguns _ DLC brought a ton of great additions to the game and has worked to make every run feel effortlessly unique. Seriously, I have logged over fifty hours in _Enter the Gungeon and I'm still constantly uncovering new things . I can't recommend this game highly enough, especially for Nintendo Switch owners.
I realize that comparing the graphics and art style of PUBG to the works of Epic Games and Treyarch isn't exactly fair, but wandering the environment still left much to be desired. Even with that jealousy during my earlier Fortnite days, the look of PUBG has never been one to excite me. I constantly wondered if the visuals would ever improve, whether it would be through more interesting architecture, more distinct themes in maps (rather than just deserts or tundras), higher-quality textures, or even cooler cosmetics that aren't Suicide Squad -them
Luckily, this weaker slate of games finally allowed me to return a bit more to my backlog and play some titles from past years that I've been putting off for far too long. Simultaneously, this lack of new games that interested me also led to me falling into a MOBA hole for the first time ever and folks, lemme tell ya, that ain't a fun place to be at. Fortunately, as the year wraps up, I think I've finally figured out how to balance my newfound MOBA addiction while still playing plenty of other games that interest me. I'm in a good place in my gaming life heading into 2019, and I'm excited to see what this next year will bring.
Minit was the first game I reviewed at DualShockers and it remains one of my favorites of the year. Minit didn't just challenge the way I thought about game design, it challenged the way I thought about time. In a world of oversized, bloated AAA games, Minit is a refreshing breath of fresh air.
God of War wasn't just my favorite game that I played in all of 2018, it's now easily my favorite game of this console generation. While 2019 is looking great on paper, it's going to take a whole lot to unseat Kratos from this throne.
With the addition of these features, the gameplay is definitely going to be more exciting and fast-paced. Not only this, we will witness brand new strategies in the new map Karakin which was spotted in the beta vers
Teams can participate in the weekly match repeatedly, but teams that are already eligible to advance will not repeatedly advance or get an additional advancement reward. The advancement spots will be filled up by other teams based on the ranki
Sadly, there’s an end to everything. Taego’s amuser also passes away once hit. They take damages from guns and grenades, then turn into fried chicken upon death. Sorry, a bad joke, they go to where we all
**A brand new PUBG update arrived earlier today (November 2nd or 3rd depending on where you're based), having previously been released exclusively for the PC Test Servers. It brings the game to version 14.2 with plenty of new features and changes
The square where players spawn on Cheer Park is now a DJ electronic music square with a DJ stage, a music arcade machine, and a techno launcher. After the Anniversary Celebration begins, the DJ's new songs, classic old songs, the pubg Tips MOBILE theme songs, and the BP electronic music songs will be played rando
You know who else loved lists? King Hammurabi of the First Babylonian Dynasty. Code of Hammurabi ? Now there's a great list. "An eye for an eye?" An absolute all-time classic. Old Hammurabi, an absolute madman. Complete legend! Don’t even get me started on ol’ Saint Nicholas. Did you see who made it on the nice list this year?
[pullquote]"A lot of care seems to have been put on the menu presentation as if PUBG Corp. wants the player to believe that their experience has as high of a production value as its reputation implies."[/pullqu
A Music Graffiti Wall will appear next to the Graffiti Square at Spawn Island in Classic Mode Erangel. Joggernauts is a beautiful, wacky, couch co-op game that will make your friends get mad at you. The game is simple-- each player is a different color and can only run into obstacles matching their color. Players take turns switching to the front to defeat enemies, collect keys, and complete other platforming challenges. It's ridiculously fun and extremely challenging if you play with several people.
